EKF’s risk assessment when exporting to Turkey

Country risk classification

The risk classification reflects the risk that a buyer cannot pay due to political risks in the country. The higher the figure, the higher the risk.



EKF's cover policy

EKF only covers transaction up to DKK 100 million in Turkey as a general rule. EKF can cover specific transactions up to DKK 250 million on a case-by-case basis. 

Credit period
Guarantees without credit period Up to 1 year 1-5 years More than 5 years
Public buyer EKF accepts guarantees from the Ministry of Finance. EKF considers cover of other public buyers on a case-by-case basis.
Private buyer ​EKF accepts the strongest buyers with a credit rating equivalent to minimum BB- ​​EKF does not provide cover for private buyers – for information on possible cover through the banking market, see the section “Bank”.
Bank EKF accepts creditworthy banks.

EKF is not open for non-recourse project finance in Turkey.

Stricter requirements for Danish economic interest.
