EKF climate

 An export contract is financed via a buyer’s credit. EKF insures the risks related to non-repayment of the loan by the buyer.Other products include the Iraq/Afghanistan programme, fixed interest loans (CIRR), mixed credits and the withholding tax scheme.The buyer requires the exporter to provide a performance bond. EKF insures the risk of the buyer’s unfair calling of the bond.An EKF investment guarantee insures political risk relating to investments abroad made by Danish companies.EKF and the bank provide financing for establishing a new company, and the future cash flow, assets and contracts of the new company provide the collateral.EKF insures against commercial and political risks prior to and after shipment in relation to a contract abroad.
