EKF participates in the last part of the conference involving networking where we will inform about the possible risk related to exports and investments in developing countries and how guarantees from EKF can secure Danish companies and banks against losses.
At the conference, Minister for Development Cooperation Søren Pind will present the visions for promotion of growth and employment with focus on how Danish companies, organisations and investors can be included in the development efforts. A director from International Finance Corporation (IFC) which is part of the World Bank Group, will talk about the growth perspective for the private sector in Africa.
Furthermore, the African heads of missions resident in Denmark will speak about the business opportunities in their respective countries. The subject of the day will also be illustrated through the presentation of a specific business case from South Africa. The conference with be concluded with a networking session where it would be possible to speak to representatives from the GoGlobal Partners (EKF, Danida, the Trade Council and IFU), the African heads of missions resident in Denmark, IFC and Vaeksthus Central Denmark.
