Bancomext and EKF in agreement on increased cooperation

EKF has signed an agreement on cooperation with Bancomext, which is Mexico’s export credit agency. The new agreement – a so-called Memorandum of Understanding – was announced during the Danish state visit to Mexico.
The agreement recognizes Bancomext as a very important export finance partner for EKF and paves the way for developing the cooperation further.

EKF’s Deputy CEO, Søren Møller says: Together, we aim to co-finance and co-guarantee trade between Mexico and Denmark, and possibly even projects in third countries involving Danish and Mexican companies.

"Initially, I see particularly interesting opportunities within wind energy, but I am sure our cooperation will span even wider. We are willing to look at any business that Danish and Mexican companies are doing together."

Bancomext was established by the Mexican government in 1937 to promote and assist exports.
