2011

With new guarantees and working capital guarantees worth DKK 13.9 billion EKF’s total exposure reached DKK 69 billion in 2011. The customer portfolio increased by almost 25 per cent, and the overwhelming majority of the new customers were small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). This is the result of EKF’s efforts in 2011 targeted at SMEs. EKF’s exposure grew in 2011 because many major cases were concluded as well. Profit for the year was a satisfactory DKK 515 million.
2010

EKF´s total exposure sets a record for the fourth consecutive year. With new guarantees worth DKK 9 billion in 2010, EKF has almost doubled our exposure to a total of DKK 56 billion in just two years. Thus EKF is covering more Danish export transactions than ever. The net profit of the year worth DKK 560 million enables EKF to help even more Danish export companies.

2009

2009 was an exceptional year owing to the financial crisis. In this year, EKF's business was also extended by three new schemes: Export loans, Working Capital Guarantee and reinsurance of credit insurance companies. With commitments totalling DKK 43 billion, EKF is now more important than ever for Danish exports.

2008

EKF’s commitments exceeded the previous year's record level, and the annual result is once again very robust. The financial crisis brought increased demand for EKF's products. In 2008, EKF was also instrumental in aiding exports of Danish climate technology by launching a range of climate guarantees as some of the first of their kind in the world.
