A total of 30 Danish banks, including the five largest banks in Denmark, have joined The Working Capital Scheme. This means that most of the Danish export companies can obtain advice and guidance regarding working capital guarantees in their own banks.

“We are very happy about the large number of banks who have joined the scheme. As the Danish export companies have to submit applications through their banks, it is a prerequisite for the success of the scheme that the banks join the scheme”, says EKF’s CEO Anette Eberhard.

So far, 15 working capital guarantees worth a total of DKK 60 million have been issued. The overall framework of the scheme is DKK 2 billion, thus, Danish export companies and their sub-suppliers have plenty of opportunities to apply for working capital guarantees.

EKF can offer working capital guarantees until 31 December 2010.
